Tony’s exposure as a young dancer in the Miss Arkansas pageant gave him the inspiration to enter into the fashion industry and open a high-end dress boutique. It was here Tony interacted with, dazzled and designed for pageant contestants, helping them win prestigious crowns such as Miss America and Miss USA. Tony ran his boutique for ten years until 2004 when he went on to join Mon Cheri to further his career as a designer and develop his very own groundbreaking pageant line.

Following the immense success of his pageant line, Tony went on to create and introduce the widely successful Tony Bowls Evening, Le Gala and Short collections of prom, evening, cocktail and party dresses.

In 2015 Tony Bowls and Mon Cheri were named the official evening dress sponsor of the Miss America pageant. The market for Tony Bowls dresses has also extended far beyond the pageant stages where it all began and Tony’s dresses can be seen in high-end boutiques and on red carpets internationally.
